Harvesting the Wasteland is now on 35 mm film and will be screened for the first time in its new format at the Short Film Festival in Grimstad on Friday, 13 June at 18:30, and Saturday afternoon at 14:00. The directors Hilde Kjøs and Karoline Grindaker are pleased with this. “We are very proud to be able to show the documentary on proper film and not just on video. It is a different experience entirely to see the film on 35mm.” As for the film’s chances at the festival, Hilde Skofteland understands it is no easy task. “Of course we are very excited to see if there will be a prize Monday evening. But the competition is tough and it’s never possible to predict what a jury will like.”
